On behalf of the Museum's staff and Board of Directors, we have missed full-capacity visitation touring our galleries, scholars researching our archives, educators studying our collection, and guests attending our monthly programs, but we understand our community's health and safety is paramount,
Yet, as we find ourselves in these unprecedented times, our work cannot simply stop.
Being responsive to a new-normal, as well as the inability to hold our 2020 annual Harvest House Tour or Shake Harris Hickory Golf Tournament, has left us working hard to digitize much our back catalog of exhibits.
We want to thank Mebanites and businesses who continue to call upon us for help with building research, determining artifact history, genealogical help, Mebane history fast facts, and the like. We remain steadfast to your requests.
When our world looks more like we remember, we will be ready and waiting to provide you with the best museum experience possible. In the interim, please consider a donation to keep our digitization efforts continuing so that Mebane's history will be available to all.
